Description

A matched pair of Anti gas over mittens. These mittens are made from white canvas and were worn to protect the delicate oil treated cotton protective mittens when doing heavy work. A matched pair unissued and still stitched together. A little grubby from storage especially on the out side but clearly dated 1943. Used by the Army, Airforce and by the Civil Defense. New old stock a little grubby around the edges from storage.
